हे कुन्तीनन्दन कल्पोंका क्षय होनेपर सम्पूर्ण प्राणी मेरी प्रकृतिको प्राप्त होते हैं और कल्पोंके आदिमें मैं फिर उनकी रचना करता हूँ।

English Translation By Swami Sivananda

All beings, O Arjuna, go into My Nature at the end of a Kalpa; I send them forth again at the beginning of (the next) Kalpa.

Transliteration

sarvabhūtāni kaunteya prakṛtiṃ yānti māmikām
kalpakṣaye punastāni kalpādau visṛjāmyaham

अनुवाद

हे कुन्तीपुत्र! कल्प के अन्त में सब भूत मेरी प्रकृति को प्राप्त होते हैं अर्थात् मेरी प्रकृति में लीन हो जाते हैं और कल्प के आदि में मैं उनको फिर रचता हूँ

भावार्थ

इस श्लोक में भगवान कृष्ण सृष्टि की उत्पत्ति और प्रलय के चक्र को समझा रहे हैं। वे अर्जुन को बताते हैं कि कल्प (ब्रह्मा के एक दिन) के अंत में सभी जीव उनकी परा-अपरा प्रकृति में विलीन हो जाते हैं। जब नया कल्प आरंभ होता है, तब भगवान अपनी शक्ति से पुनः उन सभी जीवों की सृष्टि करते हैं।

Translation

O son of Kunti, all beings merge into My nature at the end of a kalpa, and at the beginning of a new kalpa, I send them forth again.

Meaning

In this verse, Lord Krishna explains the cyclical nature of cosmic creation and dissolution. He tells Arjuna that at the end of a kalpa (a day of Brahma), all living beings merge back into His material nature. When a new cycle begins, He projects them forth once again through His divine energy.
