English Translation By Swami Sivananda

Having closed all the gates, confined the mind in the heart and fixed the life-breath in the head, engaged in the practice of concentration.

Transliteration

sarvadvārāṇi saṃyamya mano hṛdi nirudhya ca
mūrdhnyādhāyātmanaḥ prāṇamāsthito yogadhāraṇām

Translation

Controlling all the gateways of the body, confining the mind within the heart, and drawing the life-breath into the head, one should remain established in yogic concentration

Meaning

In this verse, Lord Krishna describes the yogic process of leaving the body at the time of death. The practitioner must close all the sensory gates of the body, withdraw the mind into the heart, and channel the life-force (prana) up to the head. This state of complete internal absorption is necessary for steady concentration on the Supreme.
