English Translation By Swami Sivananda
When he (the Yogi) feels that Infinite Bliss which can be grasped by the (pure) intellect and which transcends the senses, and established wherein he never moves from the Reality.
Transliteration
sukham ātyantikaṃ yat tad buddhi-grāhyam atīndriyam
vetti yatra na caivāyaṃ sthitaś calati tattvataḥअनुवाद
Translation
In that state where one experiences that infinite bliss which is graspable by the intellect and beyond the reach of the senses; and established wherein, this yogi never deviates from the ultimate truth.
Meaning
In this verse, Lord Krishna describes the pinnacle of meditation (Dhyana Yoga). When the mind is completely stilled, the practitioner experiences an infinite, transcendental bliss that lies beyond the reach of the material senses and is grasped only by the purified intellect. Once established in this state of self-realization, the yogi never wavers from the absolute truth.
