Transliteration

avināśi tu tadviddhi yena sarvamidaṃ tatam
vināśamavyayasyāsya na kaścit kartumarhati

अनुवाद

तुम उसे अविनाशी जानो, जिससे यह संपूर्ण जगत् व्याप्त है। इस अव्यय का विनाश करने में कोई भी समर्थ नहीं है।

भावार्थ

भगवान कृष्ण अर्जुन को आत्मा की प्रकृति के बारे में बताते हैं, जो नश्वर शरीर से बिल्कुल भिन्न है। आत्मा चेतना के रूप में पूरे शरीर में व्याप्त है और किसी भी साधन या व्यक्ति द्वारा नष्ट नहीं की जा सकती। यह श्लोक हमारे वास्तविक स्वरूप की शाश्वत और अविनाशी प्रकृति को स्थापित करता है।

Translation

Know that to be indestructible by which all this is pervaded. No one is able to cause the destruction of this imperishable soul.

Meaning

Lord Krishna explains the nature of the soul to Arjuna, contrasting it with the temporary physical body. The soul pervades the entire body with consciousness and cannot be destroyed by any means or by anyone. This verse establishes the eternal, imperishable nature of the true self.
