जो अपनी इन्द्रियोंको वशमें करके अचिन्त्य? सब जगह परिपूर्ण? अनिर्देश्य? कूटस्थ? अचल? ध्रुव? अक्षर और अव्यक्तकी उपासना करते हैं? वे प्राणिमात्रके हितमें रत और सब जगह समबुद्धिवाले मनुष्य मुझे ही प्राप्त होते हैं।

Those who worship the imperishable, the indefinable, the unmanifest, the omnipresent, the unthinkable, the immovable and the eternal.

Transliteration

ye tv akṣaram anirdeśyam avyaktaṃ paryupāsate
sarvatragam acintyaṃ ca kūṭastham acalaṃ dhruvam

अनुवाद

परंतु जो लोग उस अक्षर, अनिर्देश्य, अव्यक्त, सर्वव्यापी, अचिन्त्य, कूटस्थ, अचल और ध्रुव की उपासना करते हैं

भावार्थ

इस श्लोक में भगवान कृष्ण उन साधकों का वर्णन कर रहे हैं जो निराकार ब्रह्म की उपासना करते हैं। वे परम सत्य को इंद्रियों से परे, सर्वव्यापी, अचल और नित्य मानकर उसकी साधना करते हैं। यद्यपि यह मार्ग अत्यंत कठिन है, फिर भी इसके साधक भी अंततः परमात्मा को ही प्राप्त करते हैं।

Meaning

In this verse, Lord Krishna describes those who worship the formless aspect of the Supreme (Nirguna Brahman). They contemplate on the imperishable, indefinable, unmanifest, all-pervading, unthinkable, unchanging, immovable, and eternal reality. Although this path of the unmanifest is extremely difficult for embodied beings, its practitioners also ultimately reach the same supreme goal.
