English Translation By Swami Sivananda
The Blessed Lord said Very hard indeed it is to see this form of Mine which thou hast seen. Even the gods are ever longing to behold it.
Transliteration
śrībhagavānuvāca
sudurdarśamidaṃ rūpaṃ dṛṣṭavānasi yanmama
devā apyasya rūpasya nityaṃ darśanakāṅkṣiṇaḥअनुवाद
Translation
The Supreme Lord said: This form of Mine which you have seen is exceedingly difficult to behold Even the gods are ever longing to catch a glimpse of this form
Meaning
Lord Krishna explains to Arjuna that the cosmic form he has just witnessed is extremely difficult to behold. Even the celestial gods are constantly yearning to catch a glimpse of this divine form, which is rarely revealed. This emphasizes the extraordinary grace and favor bestowed upon Arjuna.
