अमी च त्वां धृतराष्ट्रस्य पुत्राः    सर्वे सहैवावनिपालसङ्घैः
भीष्मो द्रोणः सूतपुत्रस्तथाऽसौ    सहास्मदीयैरपि योधमुख्यैः

हमारे मुख्य योद्धाओंके सहित भीष्म? द्रोण और वह कर्ण भी आपमें प्रविष्ट हो रहे हैं। राजाओंके समुदायोंके सहित धृतराष्ट्रके वे ही सबकेसब पुत्र आपके विकराल दाढ़ोंके कारण भयंकर मुखोंमें बड़ी तेजीसे प्रविष्ट हो रहे हैं। उनमेंसे कईएक तो चूर्ण हुए सिरोंसहित आपके दाँतोंके बीचमें फँसे हुए दीख रहे हैं।

English Translation By Swami Sivananda

All the sons of Dhritarashtra, with the hosts of kings of the earth, Bhishma, Drona and Karna, with the chief among our warriors.

Transliteration

amī ca tvāṃ dhṛtarāṣṭrasya putrāḥ sarve sahaivāvanipālasaṅghaiḥ
bhīṣmo droṇaḥ sūtaputrastathā'sau sahāsmadīyairapi yodhamukhyaiḥ

अनुवाद

और वे धृतराष्ट्र के सभी पुत्र, राजाओं के समूहों के साथ, तथा भीष्म, द्रोण और वह सूतपुत्र (कर्ण) भी, हमारे पक्ष के भी मुख्य योद्धाओं के साथ

भावार्थ

इस श्लोक में अर्जुन भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के विराट रूप में कौरव पक्ष के सभी योद्धाओं को प्रवेश करते हुए देख रहे हैं। वे धृतराष्ट्र के पुत्रों, भीष्म, द्रोण और कर्ण जैसे महारथियों को काल के मुख की ओर बढ़ते हुए देख रहे हैं। इसके साथ ही, पांडव सेना के भी मुख्य योद्धा इस विनाशकारी दृश्य में समाहित होते दिखाई दे रहे हैं।

Translation

And all those sons of Dhritarashtra, along with the hosts of kings, and also Bhishma, Drona, and that son of a charioteer (Karna), together with the chief warriors of our side as well

Meaning

In this verse, Arjuna describes seeing all the sons of Dhritarashtra, along with allied kings, entering into the cosmic form of Lord Krishna. Great warriors like Bhishma, Drona, and Karna, who were considered invincible, are seen rushing towards their destruction. Even the prominent warriors from Arjuna’s own side are depicted as being drawn into this cosmic dissolution.
