हे राजन् श्रेष्ठ धनुषवाले काशिराज और महारथी शिखण्डी तथा धृष्टद्युम्न एवं राजा विराट और अजेय सात्यकि? राजा द्रुपद और द्रौपदीके पाँचों पुत्र तथा लम्बीलम्बी भुजाओंवाले सुभद्रापुत्र अभिमन्यु  इन सभीने सब ओरसे अलगअलग (अपनेअपने) शंख बजाये।

The king of Kasi, an exellent archer, Sikhandi, the mighty
car-warrior, Dhrishtadyumna and Virata and Satyaki, the unconered.

Transliteration

kāśyaśca parameṣvāsaḥ śikhaṇḍī ca mahārathaḥ
dhṛṣṭadyumno virāṭaśca sātyakiścāparājitaḥ

अनुवाद

महान धनुर्धर काशीराज, महारथी शिखण्डी, धृष्टद्युम्न, विराट और अजेय सात्यकि।

भावार्थ

इस श्लोक में संजय पाण्डव सेना के अन्य प्रमुख और शक्तिशाली योद्धाओं के नामों का वर्णन कर रहे हैं। वे धृतराष्ट्र को बताते हैं कि पाण्डवों के पक्ष में काशीराज जैसे महान धनुर्धर और शिखण्डी जैसे महारथी उपस्थित हैं। इसके साथ ही धृष्टद्युम्न, राजा विराट और कभी न हारने वाले सात्यकि भी युद्ध के लिए तैयार हैं, जो पाण्डव सेना की विशाल शक्ति को दर्शाते हैं।

The King of Kashi, the great archer; Shikhandi, the great warrior; Dhrishtadyumna, Virata, and the invincible Satyaki.

Meaning

In this verse, Sanjaya continues to list the prominent and powerful warriors in the Pandava army to King Dhritarashtra. He mentions the great archer King of Kashi and the mighty warrior Shikhandi. Furthermore, he highlights the presence of Dhrishtadyumna, King Virata, and the undefeated Satyaki, emphasizing the formidable strength of the Pandava forces.
